CDC Next Meeting
Get ready to join us for the next CDC Meeting on Monday, October 5th, at 7:00 pm. Come learn what you can do to support our Democratic candidates in the remaining days leading up to the November 3rd election. Hear from our elected leaders about happenings at the state, county and local levels. These remaining days are critical and each phone call, post card, door knocked makes a difference.
Upcoming Events / News
Important – Monday, October 19, 2026 is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming election. If you are already registered, this is also your last chance to make any updates to your registration, like changing your name, address, or political party.
The Montgomery County’s Mobile Voter Van will be out in the neighborhood on Thursday, October 8 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Arcadia University to encourage voters (new and registered) and to answer their questions regarding the upcoming November election. The Location is 450 S Easton Road, Glenside PA 19038.
If your Election Day plan involves voting by mail, your last chance to apply for a mail ballot is Tuesday, October 27. Your application must be received by the County by 5 p.m. As a reminder, any qualified voter may apply for a mail ballot. Voters who are already approved annual mail-in voters will not need to submit a new application for each election within a cycle (Primary and General). If you are unsure if you are an annual mail-in voter, check your status before re-applying.
Canvassing: Every weekend from now until the November election, you will have an opportunity to meet your neighbors, find out what is on their mind and ask them to vote for our Democratic candidates. One of the important roles of a Committee person is to canvass, Please take an hour or two in the coming weekends (Sat: 9-6 pm, Sun: 12-4 pm) to pick up a miniVan list from the Area 9 office located at 220 S Easton Road, Glenside, and hit the streets for Democracy. Our lives depend on it!

Committee Person Appointments: For anyone interested in being a Committee person who was not elected at the May Primary, you will need to be appointed by a majority vote of Committee people present at the September 14th CDC meeting. Please be prepared to provide a 2 minute presentation about your background and interest in being a Committee person.
